This stuff is magic! I’ve had a jetted tub for 3 years. I’ve always used the bleach/dish soap combo to regularly clean it. Even after using that combo my jets started spewing out black and brown flakes when they were functioning. I tried many different concoctions and cleaners including oh yuk and to no avail those pesky flakes wouldn’t go away! It took me 3 cycles of running the ahh some through my tub but then it was finally clean!! It’s amazing the gross crud this cleans out of all your piping! Definately give this product 5+ stars and would recommend trying this first before buying any other jet tub cleaning products. It’s a little expensive but u really don’t use much and it’s well worth the price!

This product definitely worked better than the traditional bleach/dish powder combo. I have a 2 person jazuzzi, not a hot tub, that had sat for some time. It took 3 cycles with ahh – some before the green gunk quit coming out. Now the water is crystal clear in the tub!
A couple of tips I would offer include using something to ventilate very well…it’s a pretty heavy chemical smell while the jets are running. And don’t let the dirt dry on the sides of your tub. …even a brief scrubbing while the water is going down the drain will help.
I took 1 star off for the exorbitant price & lack of ingredient list on the product. People should know what chemicals are being used. Also detailed instructions should be included in the packaging but there is only the briefest mention on the bottle.

It bubbled – but so does soap. It left a grease (Ahh calls it bio film) ring around the tub. Left the filter in the main spa body during the 30 minute clean cycle as per Ahh’s instructions. The grease was also deposited on the filter and I am unable to remove it. Here’s the kicker: Called Nordic my spa manufacturer. They sell Ahh. But I was told that they took a brand new spa and tested the product. Same results as me. Big greasy ring around the spa. There is no way any bio was present in a brand new spa. It’s also 2x as expensive as their competitors – who also claim they remove bio. Here’s what I’ll do in the future: Heep the 4 chemicals I test up. Drain the spa (250 Gal) 3 x / year. Period! Wish Ahh would take the rest back – I’ll pay for the 2 1/2t I used.
